Delayed as a result of the COVID19 pandemic, the Teatro de La Maestranza in Seville has decided to bring back the world premiere of the opera "La bella Susona" by Alberto Carretero for its 2023/24 season. There will be two shows, on March 13 and 15, 2024, under the stage direction of Carlos Wagner and Alejandro Andújar and musical direction of Nacho de Paz, and which will include the participation of Luis Cansino as Aben Susón, leader of the failed Jewish conspiracy. who tried to gain control of the city of Seville in 1481 due to the betrayal of his daughter Susona.
