The Teatro Real in Madrid has announced its 2026/27 season, which will feature Luis Cansino in the role of the Bride's Father in the world premiere of “Bodas de Sangre” by Manuel Busto, who will also conduct this opera based on the play of the same name by Federico García Lorca. Bárbara Lluch will direct the stage production. Five performances are scheduled for March 9, 10, 11, 13, and 14, 2027. These dates coincide with the 30th anniversary of the Teatro Real's reopening and the 40th anniversary of Luis Cansino's debut.
