After a little more than three years Luis Cansino has returned to Lisbon to participate in the commemorative events of the 50th Anniversary of the Carnation Revolution that marked the end of the Dictatorship. Specifically, he has performed the solo baritone part of the “Requiem Op.210” that the Portuguese composer Fernando Lopes-Graça dedicated to the memory of the victims of fascism in Portugal. Conducted by Antonio Pirolli at the head of the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra and the Choir of the Teatro Nacional de São Carlos de Lisboa, the concert took place on April 28 at the Centro Cultural de Belem.
